Privacy notice

PageMatter is a service for agencies collecting website copy, images, notes, and approvals from clients.

Data we collect

We collect agency account details (studio name, contact name, email, and a one-way password hash), project and client content submitted to a workspace, uploaded images, review history, and subscription metadata (plan, status, and receipts). Card details are handled by our payment processor, Dodo Payments, and never reach our servers.

How we use it

We use this data to run PageMatter, keep accounts secure, provide exports, process payments and manage subscriptions, support users, and improve the product. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Client links

Client links are secret bearer links. Anyone with an active link can view and edit that project's content. The agency that created the link can revoke or replace it at any time. Agencies should share links only with intended recipients.

Service providers and international access

PageMatter uses service providers for hosting, domain security, payment processing, email delivery, and operational monitoring. Data may be processed where those providers operate. We do not use advertising trackers.

Retention and deletion

Agencies can export project content, delete files, pages, sites, or their account. Account deletion removes the account's projects, links, sessions, and uploaded files from the live service. Short-lived encrypted or access-controlled backups may remain until their normal rotation ends.

Outreach emails

If we email you about PageMatter, the email may include a small tracking pixel that tells us when the message is opened, along with the time and basic device and network information. We use this only to know whether a message arrived and whether a follow-up is useful. We do not use it for advertising. To opt out, or to ask us to delete this data, email support@pagematter.app and we will stop contacting you.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete your information. Agency customers are responsible for having permission to collect client content and for handling requests from their own clients.
